Bake fairy cakes

Help a parent and child bake together step by step over live video.

The Right Tip at the Right Moment

Baking is a joy, and a pleasure. It is a wonderful ability to have and to share. However, it is also a skill learned through hard slog and experience with often less than desirable results.

If you look back on when you learned to bake, it is so often the little tips that made the difference between success and failure. For a new baker, those tips given at the right moment could completely change their baking results and make the difference between them having a lifetime of enjoyable baking or giving up forever.

You have the power to change that. By putting your ability to bake on Wizelp, you could be the person that makes that difference, that turns a down spirited failing baker into a homemade birthday cake making super mum! Go on, bake (I mean make 😉) somebodies' day..

Share Your Knowledge Through Live Video Help

You may have baked with your children many years ago, do you remember how much fun it was? Well, there is nothing to stop you doing it again. You could setup your ingredients in your kitchen and a mum and daughter could do the same in their kitchen. By the miracles of Wizelp live video help, you could all see each other and enjoy the baking together, sharing your knowledge as you go.

If you are less keen on one-to-one help, but still want to pass on your knowledge, you could run a baking event on Wizelp. "How might that work?", I hear you ask 😊. Well, you just create a Wizelp Event, set a time for it (that could be in 5 minutes, 1 hour or in 5 days' time). If you tell people in the event description what you are going to make and the ingredients, they could buy in the ingredients and be ready for the event starting. Then you just start streaming it at the appropriate time by clicking on the Stream button on the 'Your Events' page. Easy!

Build Community and Share a Lifetime of Experience

I often wonder why society does not embrace the knowledge and experience of retired people better. As far as I am concerned, retired people have the most knowledge and experience of all of us. It would be a shame not to share it with those who would benefit from it most. If you are retired, or your Mum, Dad, Nan, Gran or Grandad is, why not get them to share their knowledge and abilities on Wizelp? They could do it for free or even make a little money for themselves. And it is a win-win situation, they help someone who really needs it and at the same time get that great feeling of having a sense of purpose.

You could make the Event private for attendance and not invite anyone, so its just you. But make it public to view. You could do it for free, or maybe set a low viewing fee per hour of $0.10. With the aim of having lots of viewers watching and baking along at home. If you did a weekly baking Event, you would hopefully grow your regular viewers, who would enjoy baking along with you.
